:: Projects MPS Logo
MPS Software specialise in 'project work', by this we mean software / website development that is cutting edge and involves good levels of communication and collaboration between us and the client. In most cases the client is heavily involved in the development process, this helps ensure that the end result is what is expected.

:: NGB Organiser ::
This project is currently being developed in conjunction with the Excercise Movement & Dance Partnership (EMDP) and involves several websites and a comprehensive administration front end.
The clients (EMDP) requirement was a solution to enable them to manage the membership of around 100,000 Members & Teachers split accross several organisations throughout the UK. This included the ability to send out news letters & press releases to selected / all members and administer membership subscriptions.

Each organisation has it's own website where events and class details are pubished.

As the organisations are spread over the UK, we used a web based database as a 'central' location for the data. The admin staff at each orgranisation has a bespoke windows application to look after their events / classes and members details and can choose what information is published on their website. Each website uses the same database, this ensures that the information is always up to date and accurate.

Teachers who run their local classes can update thier members details via a simple web interface. These changes are flagged at the administrators location for authorisation. This ensures that records cannot be changed without the overseeing organisation being aware of the changes.
:: Feedback 360 (Profound Leadership Program) ::
This project was to develop an on-line questionnaire for a management development company, and provide the ability to download the data for each of the questionnaires. The data was then analysed, collated and a PDF report produced locally and emailed to the prospective clients to form part of their training program.

Feedback 360 used quite a lot of technologies to achieve the required functionality. Controllers setup the questionnaire & user details on a bespoke written windows application. This information is then uploaded to the webserver and an email is automatically sent to the prospective client informing them that a quiestionnaire was ready and the login and password required to access it. The key participants of the questionnaire can alos 'invite' other people to take part, who also got an automated email confirming login and password details.

Once all questionnaires are complete, the controller can download the data and create reports. These reports are also archived locally for recall later and to allow the old data to be removed from the webserver.
The Feedback 360 questionnaire is being used by some large organisations such as Marks & Spencer
:: Cabrite ::
Currently under beta development, this is a Taxi booking application for use by cab companies. It offers full management reporting for driver details, bookings and accounts.
It also has a PDA / GPS interface to allow jobs to be sent to drivers PDA, and provide vehicle tracking so that operators can direct the nearest vehicle to the job.
